On September 28th 2007 I will be departing to take part in one of the biggest challenges of my life. My trek to Everest Base Camp will raise vital funds for Leukaemia Busters who conduct research into and develop new improved and safer treatments for patients with currently incurable forms of leukaemia (registered charity number 1010957). Leukaemia Busters help to save lives, including mine.
Read a little more about me and my challenge by clicking on the link below. Your sponsorship will be an inspiration for me to see this through. Whatever you can contribute matters…it all adds up! Using the Just Giving website makes sponsoring easy. I know this because Mag (my wife) says she couldn’t believe how quickly and efficiently her 50 quid left her bank account. Using this method also ensures your money goes directly to Leukaemia Busters.
Just Giving use the Gift Aid scheme this means donations can be worth almost one third extra - at no extra cost to you. If you are a UK taxpayer, under the Government's Gift Aid scheme Leukaemia Busters can reclaim the tax you have already paid on your gift. Mag’s £50 meant there was an additional £14.10 for the charity.
To help me further and spread the word more widely, it would be fantastic if you could forward this email and link to anyone else you think maybe interested in this worthwhile cause.
Thank you
Chris
